Indoor air quality is
crucial to healthy homes, and mechanical ventilation is a primary means of
achieving it. The Home Ventilating Institute (HVI)
and the Healthy House Institute (HHI)
announce their newly formed partnership with the goal to clearly impart an
understanding of the principles of residential ventilation and an awareness of
the technologies available to facilitate it.
Consumers are hungry for
information on how to improve ventilation in todays tighter homes while
conserving energy and making wise equipment choices. This partnership will help
to promote healthy living and the benefits of leading a greener lifestyle all
while providing consumers with the information they desire. It is the goal of
both organizations to promote a healthier living environment and this
partnership will help us both reach that target, said Jacki Golike, CAE,
Executive Director for HVI. We will be collaborating to reach consumers with
the information they need to make their homes greener and healthier
cost-effectively through better indoor air quality, remarked Allen Rathey,
President of the Healthy House Institute.
HVI and HHI will provide expertise and technical knowledge for each
other, reveals the entitys press release. We are pleased to be
associated with the extensive technical knowledge and depth of expertise
represented by HVI and its members, said Rathey. This is a great opportunity
for HVI to reach out to the general public using HHIs trusted name, noted
Golike. The public looks at HHI as a trusted source to find information on
ways to obtain better indoor air quality and we are pleased to have the
opportunity to partner with them, said Golike. |
