A new heating & plumbing pavillion is being launched at Interbuild 2008 (26th 30th
October, Birminghams NEC) with the support of the Association of Plumbing and
Heating Contractors (APHC). This new
area will be entirely dedicated to showcasing the very latest developments from
across the heating, plumbing and ventilating industries.
This is the second
consecutive year that APHC has actively supported Interbuild and were pleased
to see plumbing and heating having a more prominent presence at the show, says
APHC Chief Executive, Clive Dickin. At the 2007 show, 25 per cent of the 44,000
plus visitors cited a specific interest in heating and plumbing related
products. Growing importance of achieving energy savings through more
environmentally efficient heating and water technologies is spurring an upsurge
in the specification of products and practices that exceed current building
regulations.
The Interbuild
Heating and Plumbing Pavilion will demonstrate innovative developments and host
a face-to-face, drop-in advice clinic. APHC personnel will be on-hand
throughout the full five days to give visitors and exhibitors their informed
opinion on specific problems or projects. Several seminar programmes across the
entire show will also carry Continuing Personal Development (CPD) points. Located in Hall 3, a
lounge and bar will take pride of place in the pavilion, with APHC member
stands in the surrounding area, reveals the organizers press release. |
