Friday, 06 June 2008

SANYO Commercial Solutions, a division of SANYO North America Corporation announces outstanding efficiency values and superior compliance with Department of Energy (DOE) Federal Register requirements for Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Multi-Split systems (Flexi-Multi and Mini ECO-I).

sanyoEffective April 21, 2008, the Department of Energy mandated new testing procedures and ratings to measure the energy efficiency for Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Multi-Split residential air conditioners and heat pumps. To date, only 2 companies including SANYO have met these strict standards. Manufacturers that have not complied with the terms of the Federal Register are not permitted to sell their products in the United States.

SANYO’s ability to meet the DOE's deadline, as well as demonstrating performance values exceeding that of its competitors should assure its customers that Sanyo's Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Multi-Split systems (Flexi-Multi and Mini ECO-i) are very efficient systems. The performances of these products are now certified by the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI). Anyone may access and download these certificates and regulations at its website, reveals the company’s press release.
