SHK MOSCOW, which took place in Moscow on May 12th – 15th, 2008, featured a large number of international participations. A total of 315 exhibitors from 23 countries showcased their innovations in the fields of heating technology, air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration technology, building technology and sanitation technology.

The organisers of this trade fair, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow, placed special emphasis on the full spectrum of renewable energy. Sixteen international companies focused exclusively on presenting innovations dedicated to environmentally friendly technologies, considering that alternative forms of energy such as solar power and heat pumps are very much in demand on the Russian market in view of rising electricity prices and declining state subsidies, reveals the organizer’s press release.
