SIG acquires Air Trade Centre International |

Air Trade Centre International,
a company specializing in the supply of equipment and components for the
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry, has been acquired by
SIG Plc, a leading specialist supplier
of insulation, roofing, commercial interiors and specialist construction
products in Europe, with existing activities in air handling and air treatment,
notably in France.
Since its establishment in 1994, the Dutch company Air Trade Centre
International (with headquarters in Tholen, The Netherlands) has pursued a
strategy of continuous development in existing and new European countries. In 2003 the turnover was 26 Million Euros, and
increased to more than 64,5 Million Euros across 12 countries in 2007. SIG recognises
the developing importance of Air Trade Centre International in the European Air
handling market, and has identified significant opportunities for further
growth in Air Trade Centre Internationals distinctive product portfolio and
market approach.
The current management team of Air Trade Centre International fully
support the acquisition and will continue to lead the further development of
the company, reveals the companys press release. Both SIG and Air Trade Centre
International are confident that this strategic operation with ambitious
