Danfoss A/S has completed the construction
of new facilities in Romania
which will house a factory as well as a new combined
sales office for all of Danfoss activities in the Romanian market. The
factory will be producing district heating substations and heat exchangers for
the Romanian and other East European markets.
The Danfoss Group started
its production activities in the country in 2006 with the acquisition of
Schmidt-Bretten Technology, Romanias
leading producer of district heating stations. Since then Danfoss has continued
its investments in Romania
in order to increase and modernise production capacity for these stations.
District heating means higher energy efficiency for society and for end-users
and the potential is enormous for modern district heating applications these
days, especially in Eastern Europe. The high
potential is the rationale behind this important investment, says Senior Vice
President of Danfoss District Heating, Lars Tveen.
