RSES announced four new technical sessions that highlight the 72^nd Annual Conference schedule at the Hilton Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Mall of America Hotel in Bloomington, Minn. on Oct. 27-31, 2009.  The educational program of this conference themed “Lean & Green”, will feature several technical sessions and will be a stage for several industry-related topics.

The four new technical sessions include “New Residential HVAC ECM Technology,” and “Variable Speed Technology,” led by Christopher Mohalley of Genteq, a division of Regal-Beloit Corp, and will cover the latest information on new electronically commutated motor technology for residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

“Energy Efficient Duct Systems – Go Galvanized, Go Green” will be led by Chris Van Rite of M&M Manufacturing Co., that will cover various “green” advantages of metal duct including its improved energy efficiency; using 100% recyclable steel; manufacturing the metal duct regionally (less transport distance); and eliminating volatile organic compounds. 

“HVAC Communicating Systems – The Future is Now!” will be led by Tim Burke of White-Rodgers, part of Emerson Climate Technologies Inc.  This two-hour session will cover how the UltraTech communicating system operates and the market research behind HVACR communicating systems, among others.
