The National Heat Pump Awards 2011, that will take place on 23^rd June, 2011, at the International Convention Centre (ICC), in Birmingham, will reward and celebrate the best new advances in heat pump technology and outstanding applications in buildings and industry.

The event Key industry bodies supporting the awards include the Heat Pump Association (HPA), the Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Institute (ACHPI) and the Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA). Official sponsors confirmed to date include Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba Carrier UK, Calorex and the HVCA, with a raft of other top names currently lining up to confirm their backing.

Chairing the distinguished judging panel is Tony Bowen, president of the award’s patron organisation, the Heat Pump Association (HPA), and a life-long advocate and supporter of heat pump technology. Tony Bowen said: "On behalf of the Heat Pump Association, I am delighted to welcome the National Heat Pump Awards competition, which will at last recognise the efforts and ingenuity being applied around the UK to develop this enormously important technology.”
