Show organisers EMAP have announced that RAC11, the UKs only dedicated event for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, and the co-located H&V11, the biennial national event for the heating and ventilating industry, will run at the NEC, Birmingham from 17-19 October 2011.
We have re-scheduled the dates for RAC and H&V from their proposed position in March to a new slot in October following extensive research with our exhibitors explains Event Director, David Pierpoint. These consultations showed a clear majority in favour of the new position in the calendar, which represents a better place in the buying season for the cooling and heating sectors.
He adds, RAC11 and H&V11 will remain co-located in a format which has proven to bring significant value to audiences and visitors at past events. The big events for the heating and cooling sectors will also coincide with the annual dates for the national building industry events - Interbuild Onsite and BEST (Built Environment Solutions & Technologies). This additional co-location is likely to benefit all four shows even more. The commercial vehicles and tools element of Interbuild Onsite will generate audience cross-over whilst the timing will also help RAC and H&V attract more specifiers and end-users, the core audience of BEST.
