Inc., issued Southland Marketing Inc., Conyers, Ga., its platinum “2006 Sales Agency of the Year” award at the 2007 International Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) Jan. 30 in Dallas. According to the company's press release, Jim Dooley, president, Southland Marketing Inc., received the award from Linda Appler, director of sales and marketing; and Paul Appler, director of research and development of Toronto-based Cliplight, which manufactures a line of leak detection tools, refrigeration system sealants, and HVAC/R tools/accessories. “Jim Dooley’s organization earned their award with over $1 million in sales and by opening 18 new HVAC distribution accounts,” said Linda Appler. Cliplight also recognized 1) Reacond and Assoc., Euless, Texas, as “Sales Agency of the Year”—Gold Award; 2) Western Component Sales, Scottsdale, Ariz., as “Sales Agency of the Year”—Silver Award; 3) The Eby Company, Beachwood, Ohio as “Innovation in Marketing;” 4) Central States Marketing, St. Louis, Mo. as “Excellence in Performance;” and 5) Anne-Marie Friedmann, salesperson, at the Walsh Agency, Toronto, received the “Achievement Award” for Most Improved Performer of 2006.   [ Back ]
