Foster Refrigerator has launched a specially designed Blast Chiller that accepts the 201 Trolley from the Rational Self Cooking Centre. This new model is part of Foster Refrigerators revolutionary range of Blast Chillers that features breakthrough technology, says the company in a press release.
With a simple press and start operation, the RBC 20 - 60 Blast Chiller is easy to use, even for first time operators. The Foster Surf Navigation System allows caterers to simply turn the dial to select the desired programme and press to start. There is a simple to use programme for every type of product, from delicate patisserie items to large joints and stews.
The RBC 20 - 60 is capable of blast chilling from +70°c to +3°c in 90 minutes, with entry temperature up to 90°c, exceeding UK and European food safety requirements. The product also features a hard wearing, long life silicon gasket to accommodate high in-going trolley temperatures.
The innovative range of Foster Blast Chillers incorporates Automatic Surface Protection which prevents frost burn and wind chill damage by incorporating Fosters Circulair (TM) air circulation system.
This means cold air flows over rather than directly at the food surface, preventing an ice skin forming on the product. This maintains its visual appeal and taste, thereby complementing the cooking process. The RBC 20 - 60 features an Intelligent food probe as standard which automatically detects whether the probe or timed chill is being used and sets the programme accordingly.
John Savage, Fosters Foodservice Director says: Foster Refrigerator Blast Chillers are the easy way for caterers to cool food quickly and safely they exceed the Department of Health requirements and can safely Blast Chill from a starting temperature of +90°c. The RBC 20 - 60 is a well-built, quality product, and with features such as robust door hinges and heavy duty positive latch handles allowing strong seals to be formed, the RBC 20 - 60 really is an impressive piece of kit. |
