SolCool One, LLC presented on the 23rd of March, in Banning, California, the new Millennia 4.0 HVAC system. Banning, California is where our efforts began and its fitting that Banning is the location of the first debut of the new Millennia low power solar HVAC system, stated Mark Walsh, Operations Manager, quoted in the company's press release.
The all DC, 24-volt Millennia 4.0 is an engineering departure from the previous three SolCool models. The 4.0 will still power the DC ceiling fan and light options as usual and will interface with our new DC Aquacell water filtration system that converts the Millennia condensate to drinking water, noted Clifford Sutton, VP of Global Sales and Marketing. We are accepting deposits on our scheduled production with availability expected May 2007, Sutton added.
The primary applications of the all DC SolCool will be zoned residential and commercial, equipment rooms, mobile vehicle and roll around portable.
The version four SolCool has two DC compressors, (one DC compressor will be a heat pump) with on board batteries that will last up to 24 hours between charge cycles. The version four is a 1.5 ton package unit that has a three speed blower and is operated by temperature activated remote control. A two gallon, on board condensate management tank will temporarily hold unit condensation with the ability to pump the condensate to a detached reservoir, drain or an Aquacell bottled water cooler system for filtered drinking water.
The patented DC version four SolCool solar air conditioning and heating system is manufactured by GPM, Incorporated and SolCool Israel. SolCool branding and distribution is coordinated by SolCool One, LLC in Redlands, CA. |
