The Spectroline
OPK-100BEZ/E BigEZ/OPTIMAX Kit has everything needed to locate all
refrigerant leaks in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems on the
first inspection, guarantees Spectronics in a press release. The kit is
centered around the patented BigEZ dye injector, which allows
technicians to add the exact amount of fluorescent dye into HVAC/R
systems by simply turning a handle.
The co-star of this
kit is the OPTIMAX cordless, rechargeable leak detection flashlight
thats 10 times brighter than regular LED lights. Its power is
comparable to super-high intensity 100W lamps and it provides over six
hours of operation between charges. The flashlight is powered by a
rechargeable NiMH battery and has an inspection range of up to 20 feet
(6.1 m).
The 4
oz (120 ml) polyol ester, universal dye cartridge included can treat up
to 400 lb (181 kg) of refrigerant or 16 gal (60.5 l) of lubricant. The
kit also contains a battery charger, an 8 oz (236 ml) spray bottle of
GLO-AWAY dye cleaner, and fluorescence-enhancing glasses. All items are
neatly stored in a rugged plastic carrying case.
