ebm-papst aquired a stake in the the
Nethersland-based Argus Vision B.V. Company, which specializes in the development
of burner controllers. This makes it
possible for ebm-papst to expand in the field of electronically controlled gas
condensing boilers.
"Acquiring a stake in Argus Vision is a building block for our
strategic expansion of the heating business," says Hans-Jochen Beilke,
Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of ebm-papst. Our stake in the company allows us to continuously
expand as a system supplier, especially with regard to our revolutionary
LambdaConstant development. The LambdaConstant System consists of an intelligent
ebm-papst blower and a control unit, and it is the first system ever to adjust
automatically to optimum combustion, even where variable gas types are present.
 19 highly
qualified employees work at the company's location in Hertogenbosch,
Netherlands, producing specialized control systems for heating and
air-conditioning units. ebm-papst's acquisition of 50% the shares was preceded
by a successful cooperation in place since 2006. According
to the companys press release, Argus Vision has been assigned to ebm-papst's Landshut location, which
is headed by Stefan Brandl. It was agreed to keep the
purchase price confidential. |
