CholodExpo
Rossija, which took place in Moscow for the first time on February 19th 21st,
2008, welcomed 72 exhibitors from 15
countries (mainly from Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic), who presented their
refrigeration applications, components and systems at the Crocus Expo Center,
as well as almost 3,000 trade visitors, who used the three days of the
exhibition for exchanging views and looking for information.
The
visitors interest was clearly focused on products and services for
refrigeration applications in food production and in the storage and sale of
food in the trade. Frank Venjakob, Exhibition Director at Nürnberg Global
Fairs, said: The visitors also included a number of potential exhibitors, who
wanted to see the exhibition first before exhibiting there themselves next
year. A comprehensive conference programme and 22 presentations with a mixed
programme of Russian and English papers were among the highlights of the
supporting programme for around 370 conference participants. Also, the
approaching Chillventa Nürnberg 2008 was a key topic during the exhibition.
Many fair visitors plan to visit Chillventa in October to strengthen the
contacts made at CholodExpo in Moscow,
stated Gabriele Hannwacker, Exhibition Director Chillventa Nürnberg.
Furthermore,
most exhibitors plan to exhibit again in the coming year as, among others, they
gathered firsthand information about the Russian market, reveals the
organizers press release. CholodExpo Rossija comes at the right time in the
right place, says Mauro Bonfanti of Frascold, expressing the view of many
exhibitors, and Peter Pintar, Sales Manager East Europe at Bock agreed: We
regard the exhibition as pioneering for the Russian market. The Russian
participants themselves think similarly, according to the verdict of Fedor
Saytsev of Syrievaya Metallurgitcheskaya Kompaniya: The visitors are people
from production and installation who ask very specific technical questions. It
really is a technical exhibition, and promising contacts were made. The next
CholodExpo Rossija takes place on February 17th 19th, 2009.
