NADCA announces first seminar on IAQ and HVAC systems cleaning in Spanish |

The National Air Duct
Cleaners Association (NADCA), a non-profit
organisation based in the USA that offers standards and guidelines, certifications
and educational programs for the cleaning and restoration of HVAC systems, is
proud to present the seminar on Introduction to Air Duct Cleaning and IAQ.
This is the first seminar
covering air duct cleaning presented entirely in Spanish, which will take place
on Friday, March 7th 2008 as part of the 12th Annual NADCA Convention in San
Diego, California. The seminar provides an introduction to indoor air quality
and focuses on the role of HVAC system cleaning as an integral part of ensuring
healthy building environments. These topics are covered in conjunction with the
ACR 2006 standard Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration of HVAC Systems.
Best practices for mold prevention and remediation will be covered, as well as
a variety of health and safety topics, for a truly comprehensive introduction
to the world of IAQ and HVAC systems cleaning.
According to the organizations press release, it will be presented by Marisa
de Segovia and Carlos González Boothby. Marisa
de Segovia is a founding partner of Air-Care (México), ex-President of the
Monterrey ASHRAE Chapter (2006-2007) and is currently in NAFAs Executive
Committee. Mr. Carlos González Boothby is Technical Manager at In-Viro Care
(Puerto Rico) and has over 15 years experience offering complete solutions for
Indoor Air Quality problems. |
