Ramón Vizcaíno, a leader in the Spanish refrigeration technology market with a 20% market share, has signed a contract with the Navarra Investment and Infrastructure Promotion Society, dependent on the Government of Navarra, for the Ciudad Agroalimentaria de Tudela’s cold production project.

This contract’s goal is the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a centralized cold generation system for 10 years using CO2 technology, which is environmentally friendly and highly energy efficient. The 5,589 kW refrigeration capacity will allow for the future growth of Ciudad Agroalimentaria de Tudela’s facilities, a 120 hectare surface area which will group manufacturing and auxiliary companies from the agrifood industry. These will offer a wide range of infrastructures and services, such as laboratories, machinery, maintenance, logistics, business centres, SME incubators, hotel and restaurant management or tourism schools, among others.
