On Saturday, Feb. 9, 1933
the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society officially became incorporated in
New York, making 2008 its 75th anniversary. In honor of the Societys
birthday, RSES is launching a
variety of incentives to members.
Since RSES was founded in 1933, membership has grown significantly, a variety
of HVACR educational materials including computer-based and certification
preparation resources have been developed and the RSES Journal has become the
HVACR industrys leading source of technical information for contractors and
technicians. RSES has traveled a remarkable 75 years to become the HVACR
Training Authority and is building the foundation for RSES members, programs
and services for the next 75 years.
In celebration of its 75th
anniversary, RSES is offering an incentive program to current members and
Chapters. The RSES individual or student member that signs up the most new
members will win two roundtrip tickets on American Airlines for anywhere
American Airlines flies in the continental United States and Mexico. The
Chapter that signs up the most new individual and/or student members will win
$750. Certain restrictions apply. This offer runs from April 1, 2008 to Feb.
28, 2009. In addition, RSES will offer a special
dues rate of $75 for individuals who join RSES in April 2008. To kick off this
contest, RSES will also be awarding $75 to the first five individual or student
members who sign up ten new members. According to the organizations press
release, other RSES birthday bonuses will coincide with the launch of a
redesigned and enhanced online store. |
