AIRAH calls for papers for the Achieving the Green Dream Conference |

The Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air
Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH)
has announced a national conference titled Achieving the Green Dream to be held
in Brisbane on
July 16th 2009 that will
examine the practicalities of designing, building and fitting out buildings in
an era when building green is increasingly becoming the default setting.
Achieving the Green Dream will focus on the need for
those within industry to gain a practical knowledge about implementing
sustainable design. Among its many topics, this conference will cast its
sustainable spotlight on communication between designer, project managers,
consultants, sub-contractors, commissioners, installers and tenants; implementing
regulations; Local climatic solutions; integrated relationships between the
design and the implementation of Green Buildings.
AIRAH is now calling for papers for the
conference on key topics, such as architecture; mechanical; software design; new
technologies; HVAC systems integration and optimisation, and these should be submitted by April 30, 2009.
