With power ratings up to 50kw and the
production of hot water at 65°C,
the Aquaciat Caleo range from CIAT
is the first European solution for refurbishing large buildings, small hotels
and light industries. Energy savings of around 50% are achievable in
refurbishment, thanks to the heat pumps now available in these markets.
Aquaciat Caleo allows the replacement of conventional heating, while keeping existing
radiators, to manage the production of clean hot water or to heat swimming
pools.
With Aquaciat Caleo, it is now possible to produce hot water at 65°C, for the heating network,
the sanitation network, or to heat a swimming pool - even for a 12°C exterior temperature. The
heat pump becomes, therefore, a renovation solution for large houses (more than
300m2 on average) and for small collectives (country estates, small hotels,
offices). A range of four units is on offer, according to the application, with
powers of 25, 30, 40 and 50 kW and with a COP close to 4 (COP = coefficient of
performance between the thermal power provided and the electricity consumed).
The optimisation of Aquaciat Caleo system allows the control of backflow
temperatures and therefore optimises the thermodynamic cycle that produces
water up to 65°C.
Unlike other alternatives, such as solar panels, Acquaciat Caleo is easy to
integrate, without bulky constraints (and not needing sunshine) so that it can
be installed outside and work at temperatures down to -20°C.
