CIBSE, the Chartered
Institution of Building Services Engineers, is to host the 2009 CIBSE National Conference: Engineering Excellence
- The Way to a Sustainable Business, where leading industry speakers
such as Professor Julia King of The

CIBSE's
annual National Conference takes place at the Russell

April 2009, where a selected set of expert speakers will take delegates through
two days of talks focusing on sustainability: both sustainability in building
services and, crucially, how to create a more sustainable business.
Professor Julia King opens Day 1 of the
conference with a keynote address on carbon saving targets; While Mike Hogg
will discuss energy issues of the future, such as efficiency options and their
influences. Other speakers over the two days include Professor David Fisk,
Terry Wyatt, consultant to Hoare Lea, Professor Dr.-Ing.
Francis Allard of Universite de La Rochelle, France, and
President REHVA, and Paul Decort from the Department of Communities and Local
