Cooling buildings with solar heat at estec2009 |

 The 4th
European Solar Thermal Energy Conference (estec2009), the largest conference on solar
thermal energy worldwide and the premier international
information platform to exchange views on current technological, political and
market developments with international key experts from industry, is organized
by the European Solar Thermal Industry Federation (ESTIF) and will take place
on May 25 and 26, 2009, in
Munich.
The
two-day conference will highlight key issues in the solar thermal sector, being
the Directive on Renewable Energy
one of them. Particular attention will also be paid to national solar thermal markets both within and outside Europe. Conference speakers, coming from national solar
associations and beyond, will present the development and opportunities of
solar thermal in their country.
More than 600 experts will participate in estec2009 to discuss the
latest trends in the industry, technological developments as well as policies
promoting solar thermal energy usage. The comprehensive programme of the
estec2009 conference thus aims to provide updates on policies promoting the use
of solar thermal energy and to answer challenging questions such as the ones concerning
renewable obligations to change the market.
