Greenheck, the leading manufacturer of air-movement and control equipment, offers the greenheckVektor-MD mixed-flow blower, designed for laboratory exhaust applications, such as hospital, pharmaceutical, university, biotech and other laboratory applications.

The Vektor-MD, available in belt or direct drive, uses an inline mixed flow fan to quickly and efficiently exhaust fumes and odours up and above the research facility. The high plume dilution nozzle and wind band entrain ambient air to assist in the dilution of the laboratory exhaust effluent and maximize plume rise, reducing energy consumption. Both utilize a bifurcated housing design that allows safe, easy access to all the drive components. Vektor-MD systems have a small installed footprint, requiring minimal roof space.

The new laboratory exhaust system meets ANSI Z9.5, NFPA 45, and ASHRAE Chapter 44 lab design guidelines, and can be applied in a wide variety of configurations including single, double, triple or quad assemblies, and can be packaged with Vektor energy recovery systems.
