Haier expands small appliances line at International Housewares 2009 |

Haier America, a leader for
room air conditioner, and compact refrigerator, showcased a number  of
innovative appliance solutions at this year’s International Housewares Show in Chicago. With “green” on
consumers’ minds, Haier is introducing the new HyCool compact refrigerator with an
eco-friendly refrigerant as well as supplementing its current refrigerant-free
NuCool technology with a new unit that combines a refrigerator and a microwave
into one unit.
“While the industry and economy are going through difficult times, we
are very optimistic and encouraged by our new product launches,” said Michael
Jemal CEO of Haier America.
“Over the past few years we have invested heavily in research and development
for more efficient and environmentally friendly appliance solutions, and we are
excited to showcase our new offerings as highlighted by our NuCool and HyCool
compact refrigerators.”
According to the company’s press release, the new Haier Piano Black
Small Appliance series brings style and design home at the International
Housewares Show in Chicago
this year. Haier’s new line of sleek kitchen appliances features blue
LED illumination and control panels.
