MovinCool introduces new spot air-conditioner controller |

MovinCool®
introduced a new, enhanced controller for all models of its popular OfficePro®
and Classic Plus lines of spot air conditioners, fully compliant with the
European Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive.
 The controller has several new features,
including a larger, brighter LCD screen on its control panel, making the
controller even easier to program than previous models. In addition, users can
now conveniently track the total operating time of a unit. Users can also lock
the control panel, in order to prevent unauthorized personnel from changing
settings.
An important safety feature is the
controller’s water-level alert system. The controller can also receive
electrical input signals from a fire-alarm control panel, allowing the
controller to shut the air conditioner down in order to prevent it from
possibly spreading smoke.
“Our company
philosophy is to continually improve, as well as to be proactive in creating
products that are better for the environment,” said John Doran, senior manager,
Commercial and Industrial Systems. “In this case, the result is a new
controller that makes our air conditioners even more user-friendly than before and
more environmentally friendly too.”
