With immediate effect, Danfoss recently announced that the company has taken over full ownership of Tau Energy which Danfoss has had close cooperation with since 2005, in order to strengthen Danfoss' heat exchanger business.
Thereby, Danfoss secures full rights to a new trendsetting heat exchanger technology, which is considerably more energy-efficient than competing technologies, and which can be produced with fewer raw materials.
Tau Energys around 100 employees based in GuiYang, China, will become part of Danfoss District Energy who is responsible for Danfoss district heating and cooling solutions as well as Danfoss production and development of brazed heat exchangers. The previous majority shareholder and managing director of Tau Energy, Lars Persson, will also continue at Danfoss. |
