Energesis participated actively in the II Geothermal Energy in Building and Industry Congress (GeoEner), held on 10 and 11 March, at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid.

GeoEner is the most important forum for Spain's geothermal energy sector and has been chosen by Energesis to present the latest developments in geothermal applications developed by its R & D & I department.

Energesis presented several papers, such as Design and implementation of a thermal base to prevent ground freezing, as well as Thermoactive pillars: construction process and thermal characterization and, which was exposed by the multinational Rodio Kronsa.

Moreover, Bill Urchueguía Schözel, Vice President of European Geothermal Panel and Energesis founding partner, as the congress closing key, presented New European Directives and Platforms: a vision for geothermal energy development from 2020 to 2030.
