New Zealand, with the recent restoration of an impressive building in the city of Wellington, increased the global popularity of Trox COMBEAMS.
With the reform efforts undertaken in New Zealand in a historic building, that building will last over time as one of the oldest buildings in town. Thanks to the architectural freedom offered by Trox multiservice chilled beams, it was developed a special beam design with elaborate detail in the wing form so as to satisfy the aesthetic needs of this project and to save the internal structure of the ancient halls of the building.
The technical and aesthetic requirements of the building, as well as the demanding standards of comfort required, made necessary the project of passive and active elements (including ventilation air terminal unit, generating induction) and the air conditioning integration with other installations (lighting, sensors presence, wiring, etc..) into a single unit, giving great flexibility thanks to the 4-pipe system that ensures the proper heat treatment in all areas of the building in winter and summer. |
