The 4^th IIR Conference Ammonia Refrigeration Technology will take place in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia, 14 to 16 April 2011 and will stress out new information in development of the ammonia refrigerating systems which are the best solutions for cold stores, food and drink processing, new systems in supermarkets (with CO2), chillers for central air conditioning, heat pumps and other applications.

Several innovations will be presented for a first time, such as an ammonia hermetic compressor and low charged ammonia chillers suitable for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning; improved efficient heat exchangers; large heat pumps for central (and district) heating up to 90^oC hot water; and small ammonia heat pumps.

There will also be opportunities to meet and exchange experience with experts from leading companies such as GEA Refrigeration, Johnson Controls/Sabroe, Mayekawa, Baltimore Aircoil, Evapco, LU-VE, Guentner, Alfa Laval, Axima, Star Refrigeration, Ingersoll Rand, Emerson Climate Technologies, Zudek, end-user companies (Unilever, Kraft Foods Global …), and from well known universities and research institutions.
