Frascold, the leading Italian compressor manufacturer, has introduced a number of important innovations, further enhancing the performance and efficiency of its popular ranges of screw and reciprocating machines.

The companys advanced CX screw compressor is now available with an integrated inverter drive, delivering exceptional efficiencies and even lower noise. The new unit, designated CXIT, requires a very low start current, a key benefit in situations where electrical power supply is limited. This is an increasingly common problem in both industrial and commercial cooling applications.
With an operating frequency of 20 to 80Hz, the integrated inverter enables the compressor to precisely match cooling output to the changing load, significantly reducing energy consumption and running costs. The CXIT unit available in nine models, is spanning capacities from 70 to 160hp.
