In the search for greater power and efficiency for heating and air conditioning cabinets, and eliminating air leaks from closed systems, the manufacturer of air conditioners Air Handling Systems Ltd. (AHS) was set at Southco, as the only company with a product that satisfies the pressure tests and provides a real solution.

When AHS conducted pressure testing on their air conditioning units, it found that the major cause of air leak was through the seal of the cabinets doors. AHS went to Southco, which has been working for many years as a dynamic company and leader in the industry and shared their own innovative and pioneering ideas.

Wes Campbell, AHS Technical Director explains: "Southco offered us the perfect solution by modifying its standard Vise Action E3 pressure closures, adding an extra thread to allow the coupling nut to the back of the closure and providing a firm compression for a door thickness of 50 mm".
