A. O. Smith, a leading manufacturer and marketer of residential and commercial water heaters and hydronic boilers with more than 70 years of research and innovation, recently introduced a new stainless steel water heater in the market.

The Twister is a fully room-sealed, condensing (95% efficiency on upper value) water heater and will be available in two models, the Twister 35.8 kW output with a 130 litre storage tank and the 47.3 kW model with a 190 litre tank. Once the water, flue and gas connections are made one only has to set the temperature. The three external LEDS clearly indicate the status of the unit. As the tank is made of stainless steel there is no need for anodes. Hence, maintenance can be carried out quickly and easily as the unit can be serviced from the front. Its premix burner results in low NOx emissions (21 and 16 ppm) to help save the environment, reveals the company.

This perfect source of hot water for large domestic and small industrial applications, such as dairy farms, salons and homes with large shower rooms, has simple controls and meets the new Part L2 regulations for energy performance calculations.
