Five
months before Chillventa 2008, 603
companies and organizations have registered for a net display area of 29.609 m²
(as at 15 May 2008), including some country pavilions from Great Britain,
the USA, Spain, Turkey and China. NürnbergMesse expects 800 exhibitors and some
25,000 trade visitors from all over the world.
The
supporting
programme is organized and designed by the associations and organizations
of this sector. It starts on October 14th with the continuation of the
successful International Heat Pump Symposium launched under the leadership of
DKV (German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Society) in September 2007. The
noted ASERCOM + EPEE Symposium (Association of European Refrigeration
Compressor and Controls Manufacturers + European Partnership for Energy and
Environment) takes place on the afternoon, parallel to the Symposium on
Absorption Refrigeration held by ILK Dresden (Institute of Air Handling and Refrigeration
Technology). After this, kεkk (Centre of Excellence for Energy Efficiency in
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) invites visitors to a panel discussion. On
October 15th the VDMA (Air Handling Technology Association, VDMA) session
offers interested visitors information about the latest developments in
energy-efficient fans. Other highlights are the supporting events for the target
group of users and operators of refrigeration plants for use in the food trade,
reveals the organizers press release.
The
Institute of Building Air Conditioning (FGK) devotes the second day of the
exhibition completely to the reduction of CO2 in air conditioning systems,
energy recovery, and system optimization through the use of VRV/VRF systems.
The event is rounded off with the developments and efficiency criteria of
chillers. There is also an opportunity to obtain information about Natural
Ventilation on this day by attending a short course organized by ASHRAE. Also
on October 16th there is a series of presentations offered by the
industry initiative eurammon under the title of Refrigeration Applications
with Natural Refrigerants. Finally, on Friday an event organized jointly by
DKV and the VDMA Refrigerated Cabinets Group will deal in detail with the state
of the art, energy conservation possibilities, refrigeration chain logistics
and testing plants to the F-Gas Regulation. |
