The Colombian
Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation Association (ACAIRE), which represents manufacturers,
contractors, engineers, students, and technicians in Colombia, has recently announced
the new board of directors. These changes aim to help the Association to invest
in the near future and to increase its efficiency.
Along with Fabio Clavijo V.,
Gabriel Jiménez Fernández, Luís Gay Salvino, Ángela Pachón, Luz Helena
Mosquera, Andrés Velásquez, Mauricio Gleise, Giovanni Barletta, Barranquilla,
Julián Trujillo, Mauricio Baena, Laura Millán Morales, and Carlos Arturo
Sánchez, ACAIRE has named Camilo Botero, President of the Association, and
Yohanna Alzamora, General Manager of SERVIPARAMO and also member of the Board
of Directors in several periods, as Vice President.
Among the several names,
ACAIRE, the only advocate for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and
refrigeration (HVACR) industry, named Mr. Botero who holds a Bachelor Degree in
Mechanical Engineering, a Magister in Thermal Engineering, and a MBA. Camilo
Botero, President of the Association, has been HVAC professor and a
consultant on air conditioning for the last 40 years, and member of the
Board of Directors in several periods.
