The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), the prime source of expertise for sustainable buildings, announced that entry is now open for the 2010 CIBSE Low Carbon Performance Awards. Deadline for entries is 30^th October 2009 and the awards will be presented in February 2010 at a high profile ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The awards aim to recognise proven achievements in delivering carbon savings in buildings and highlight carbon reduction in both the design and management of buildings. Categories include ‘New Build of the Year’, ‘Refurbishment of the Year’, ‘Client of the Year’ and ‘Low Carbon Manager of the Year’.
