Thursday, 14 May 2009

TROX launches the Advanced IT Cooling System (AITCS), the new technology based on Carbon troxDioxide for the refrigeration of critical environments, such as Data Processing Center (CPD), used in different sectors such as bank, finances or health, and that require the major standard in terms of resilience and redundancy.

The CO2OLrac™ is based on a CO2 cooling system and has a high refrigeration of 30 KW or more by high density rack that saves up to 50% in comparison with water. According to the company’s press release, the new system is very safe since it includes a leak and gas detection system and is suitable for data processing centers, from new construction or in rehabilitation phase.

The CO2OLdesk™ is a cooling treasury board system with hot loads directly absorbed by the source and with high specific refrigeration capacity. The new system is also adaptable to individual areas with a refrigeration capacity from 1200 W to 1500 W. According to the Trox, the new system has a refrigeration capacity to seven times over water, reducing the energy consumption in 40%.
