MosBuildRecord attendance at this year’s MosBuild exhibition confirmed its status as the largest and most influential event for the building and interiors industries in Russia, Eastern Europe and CIS. The exhibition took place on 6 - 9 April, featured 2,103 companies from 48 countries and attracted an audience of 194,440 visitors.

As Russia’s largest trade event, MosBuild presented the entire spectrum of products and services within the building, interiors, window technologies, ceramics, stone and country home industries. Exhibitors were keen to demonstrate their strength in the market by unveiling impressive displays of their latest technologies and new product ranges.

Russia remains a key market for many international companies, as Daniel Nevitt from Armourcoat explains: “We operate in 70 countries around the world, so we have a good indication of how the markets are recovering following the economic crisis, some at a different rate. Russia, for us, has been a fantastic market. This is the third year that we are participating in MosBuild and we recognise it as a great opportunity for us to present the Armourcoat brand.”

MosBuild International Event Director, Darryl Pawsey, is optimistic about the Russian market and looks forward to next year’s event which will take place on 5-8 April 2011: “The feedback from this year’s exhibitors was very positive, people’s attitude seems to have changed and companies are very optimistic about the future of the Russian market. There is a great deal of activity here and the prospects for long term growth are very attractive for suppliers from around the world. Our spring season of events has been highly successful, with exhibitors reporting brisk business. I’m anticipating a healthy year for the Russian market and look forward to next year’s MosBuild.”
