Munters FreeDry™ unit combines the low-cost benefits of cooling-based dehumidification technology with an advanced low temperature desiccant rotor for unequaled moisture removal capacity and 60% lower annual operating costs.  Instead of using natural gas to reactivate the desiccant wheel, Munters’ FreeDry™ unit uses the waste heat from the arena’s ice plant. The FreeDry™ heat pump and multiple-scroll air-conditioning compressors enable FreeDry™ to easily maintain indoor humidity levels even under the most extreme summer outdoor conditions.
