Air conditioning distributor Oceanair UK Ltd is expanding its business with the addition of new staff and a new location in the south. The move follows the closure of sister company Oceanair Distribution Ltd, which ceased trading in February this year.

The two companies have traded as separate companies from two locations since 2002, with Oceanair UK Ltd based in Nottingham and Oceanair Distribution Ltd in Horsham. Following the closure of Oceanair Distribution Ltd, Oceanair UK Ltd has employed the majority of that company’s staff and expanded its own operations to cover the southern region.

Tony Evanson, managing director of Oceanair UK Ltd, said: “I have known the team at Horsham for many years and they share our passion for customer service and technical support. Our expanded product range and renewables experience will further enhance their client offer”.

He added: “As a result of the change, we will also be offering extended stock holding facilities in the South and Midlands, improved technical support across the UK, and improved design and application advice - particularly in the renewables sector”.
