Chatron decided to
participate this year at several international exhibitions of construction and
air conditioning in Angola, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, in order to increase exports to these
regions. The company has sold some products on this emerging market, but on a
small scale, and it now wants to promote Chatron and photovoltaic energy.
Indeed, the company was present at Constroi Angola last October, represented
with its own stand. Biocooler was one of the companys products highlighted in
this fair, attracting the press mainly due to its high energy efficiency and
its low electricity consumption, one of the current problems of Angola.
Chatron looked for established local companies in order to provide solutions to
all its customers in this market.

The Portuguese company also went to SAUDI BUILD 08, where it was present with its
own stand incorporated into the Portuguese delegation organized by AEP (Portuguese
Business Association). Saudi Arabia
is the largest country in the entire Arabian Peninsula,
with more than 25 million inhabitants and a strong growth, particularly
regarding new and modern office and residential buildings.
Chatron sees this country as a natural market for its Biocooler products, which
were much appreciated during the exhibition due to its ideal robustness for the
regions extreme climate, and also for alternative energies projects. Although
it is an oil-producing country, there are certain sectors of Saudi society who
want to introduce clean energy in their projects. Because supply is not yet
significant, this is a niche market that Chatron will explore, reveals the
companys press release.
