
The China International Exhibition for Auto Air-conditioning &
Transportation Refrigeration (CIAAR 2008), which takes place on November 23rd 25th, 2008, at
the Shanghai Everbright Convention &
Exhibition Center,
will feature the 6th International Mobile Air Conditioning Technology
Symposium.
The aim of this symposium is to introduce the latest development trends at home
and abroad for automotive air-conditioning, with domestic and foreign experts
from automotive air conditioning industry giving technical talks. On November
24th there will be three presentation sections. Section one will focus on
industrial and environmental protection policies for the automotive air
conditioning industry in China
with presentations by Chinese experts. Section two will focus on environmental
protection policies and measures for automobile air conditioning in other
countries and regions, featuring representatives from Greenpeace, the EU, the
California Environmental Protection Agency, General Motors, the Indian Energy
Research Commission, and Tata Motors.
Finally, section three will focus on new types of environmental protection
refrigerants for automobile air conditioning, which meets standards on
environmental protection, with presentations by Honeywell, DuPont, Fiat Auto,
Schrieve and Shecco. The following day, section four will focus on new
technologies for automotive air conditioners, with speakers from OBRIST, Purdue University,
Denso, Sanden, EGELHOF and Delphi. Mr.
Rajendra Shende from UNEP will present the closing speech, reveals the
