The International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration Exhibition (CLIMATIZACIÓN ´09) an event organised by IFEMA and supported by the Spanish industry’s leading associations which is due to take place at Feria de Madrid between 24th and 27th February 2009, will host the staging of the fourth edition of the Innovation Gallery, an exclusive area that will present the most innovative products and services marketed by the exhibiting companies.

A committee, consisting of a number of renowned members of the industry, will select the participating products based on their degree of innovation, their energy efficiency, their degree of respect for the environment, their quality and their design. The results of the selection process will be announced on November 24th. The purpose of the Innovation Gallery is to boost the dissemination and promotion of the most innovative products and services presented at the fair. In this respect, it aims to provide members of the industry with an incentive to innovate, based on the practical application of know-how and technology within the field of industrial development, as well as highlighting and disseminating the most significant advances that are made in this respect. Furthermore, it seeks to recognise and promote the research and development activities carried out by companies within the industry.


This fair, which will be staging its thirteenth edition this year and celebrating 25 years´service to the industry, will occupy Halls 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 at the fairground, a new layout that will provide a larger amount of exhibition space and an improved organisation of the different sectors that make up the event. In this respect, the three wide-ranging areas that make up the exhibition will present the following layout: Air-Conditioning and Ventilation, in Halls 6, 8 and 10; Heating and Domestic Hot Water, in Halls 5, 7 and 9; and Refrigeration and Industrial and Commercial Cooling, as well as Regulation, Control and Centralised Management, in Hall 4.
