Cool-Therm Ltd, the industrial and
commercial air conditioning and refrigeration specialist, is expanding with the
opening of a new branch near Reading, Berkshire. The latest site (near Junction 12 of the M4)
brings to three the number of Cool-Therm outlets, joining the companys
headquarters near Bristol and recently opened
office in Caerphilly, South Wales.
The
company is a leading supplier of Daikin air conditioning equipment, with
coveted D1 status, and a UK
distributor for Italian-made Geoclima products, including the high efficiency
Turbomiser chiller. The new branch is headed by Alex Strong, a graduate of Reading University
and former technical manager at the company, previously based in Bristol. Alex has
particular expertise in large chiller applications, up to 1500kW, and is a
trained Turbocor engineer having attended specialist courses at the companys
headquarters in North America. The new outlet
will offer equipment sales and project management, service and maintenance of
all types of air conditioning and refrigeration chillers, heat pumps, air
handling units and fan coils, reveals the companys press release.
Commenting
on the opening, Ken Strong, managing director, said: The business has
continued to grow, and as part of expansion plans we wanted to open a second
regional office on the east side of the M4 corridor to better serve major
customers in the Thames
Valley and South of
England regions. Alex was the natural choice to set up and head up the new
office. Alex Strong said: Its an exciting opportunity to take the business
forward. In addition to better serving existing clients, we see considerable
potential to expand further in the region, given the concentration of end users
and Blue Chip companies in this part of the country.
