Carrier UniversityCarrier University offers a 2-day course titled Sustainable Building Design and LEED for Mechanical Engineers, to take place on May 1-2 2010 in Syracuse, NY. Intended for HVAC designers, engineers, design/build contractors, construction managers, architects, and building owners involved in sustainable building design, the course provides participants with an understanding of how sustainable design impacts current HVAC applications and practical ways to apply HVAC technology in achieving sustainable design goals.

With the new guidelines for LEED Version 3 in place, LEED accredited professionals will need to take steps to maintain their accreditation and to remain current with LEED changes. The Credentialing Maintenance Program (CMP), administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), is designed to expand the knowledge and experience base of LEED Professionals and to facilitate a LEED AP’s continuing professional development.
