CIATESA, the Spanish company that promotes the use of renewable energies in the air conditioning sector, has announced the launch of AirDuo, a new air-air unit with outdoor helicoidal fan unit in R410a vertical air discharge. The new range features 14 heat pump and cooling models and offers power outputs from 20 to 135 kW. Specially designed for commercial premises, AirDuo complies with requirements of the Regulation on Indoor Heating/Air-conditioning Systems (RITE).

According to CIATESA, the efficiency of the new unit in nominal conditions has increased by 25% compared to previous R-407c-based units. The cold efficiency is EER >= 2.8 and the heat efficiency corresponds to COP >= 3.2. Standard units includes condensing pressure control through pressure switch with 2 speed fan and offers an optional condensing pressure control by varying the fan speed and pressure sensor, which substantially reduces the noise level and power consumption.
