Directors elected to one-year terms include Don Stevens of Panasonic in Keyport, Washington; John Harper of Tamarack Technologies in Hamilton, Ohio; Daniel Forest of Venmar Ventilation, Inc. in Drummondville, Quebec; Doug Steege of Renewaire in Madison, Wisconsin and Mario Lavoie of Imperial Air Technologies in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada.
Boldt noted there are several priorities on which the HVI Board of Directors will focus during his term as Chairman. "First and foremost we must communicate and promote the advantages of proper ventilation on healthy living environments," said Boldt. "Secondly, we are positioned to use the strength of our trade association to perhaps initiate efforts to convince government and utilities to provide information and rebates to consumers to advance energy efficient ventilation techniques and products. Thirdly, we will use our combined knowledge to advance building codes to promote cost effective methods of improving indoor air quality in North American homes." |
