Javier Urchueguía elected Vice President of the European Geothermal Energy Council |

Javier Urchueguía, founding partner of Energesis, a company specialized in geothermal air conditioning and energy-efficiency, and co-chair of the low-enthalpy geothermal energy group of the Spanish Association of Renewable Energy Producers (APPA), has been elected Vice President of the European Geothermal energy Council in Brussels.
This appointment is the recognition of the geothermal research efforts that Javier Urchueguía performes as a Senior Lecturer of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and governing member of the Spanish Geothermal Technology Platform (GEOPLAT).
The Geothermal Panel is part of the European Technology Platform on Renewable Heating & Cooling (ETP-RHC), the European Energy Commission's formal advisory group working in research and development of renewable energy sources for the HVACR industry. |
