At a meeting held on November 9th 2009, Arkema’s Board of Directors decided to propose to the next Ordinary General Meeting on June 1st 2010 the appointments of Mrs Isabelle Kocher and Mrs Claire Pedini as Directors of Arkema.

Arkema’s Board of Directors duly noted the resignation of Mr Tidjane Thiam in the light of his new position at Prudential Plc, and unanimously decided to co-opt Mrs Isabelle Kocher, Managing Director of Lyonnaise des Eaux (GDF-Suez Group) in his place.

At the same meeting, the Board of Directors also decided to propose to the next Ordinary General Meeting the appointment of Mrs Claire Pedini, Executive Vice President for Corporate Human Resources and Transformation at Alcatel-Lucent.
