Contractors can learn what duct air leakage is and how it relates to equipment air leakage, accessory air leakage, and HVAC system air leakage during SMACNA’s webinar on HVAC Air Duct Leakage, Dec. 2 at 11:00 a.m. (EST).

According to SMACNA, the webinar will explain how to perform the calculations manually and how to use the tables and charts provided in SMACNA’s HVAC Air Duct Leakage Test Manual, first edition. The webinar will address duct air leakage pertaining to various codes and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), as well as common misconceptions and myths.

The webinar is designed for project managers, estimators, engineers, shop superintendents, field supervisors, foremen, lead journeymen, designers, TABB professionals, and will include presentations from leading speakers, such as Eli Howard, executive director, SMACNA Technical Resources Department, and Mark Terzigni, project manager, SMACNA Technical Resources.
