Besides being a sponsor, Vaillant is one of five exhibitors that will be showcasing at the 1st Congress of Distributed Generation, GENEDIS to be held on 24 and 25 November at the Palacio de Congresos in Madrid. Organized by The Council of Economy and Tresury, through its Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines and the Energy Agency of the Regional Government of Madrid, Genedis aims to provide an alternative to the traditional electric power generation.

As a leading manufacturer of energy-efficiency products, Vaillant will showcase its new micro-generation ECOPOWER unit, a micro-generation product based on a smart, profitable and effective technology for heat and decentralized power generation, thus allowing the self-production of heat and electricity. In addition, with the new ECOPOWER unit, the energy consumption could be reduced by more than one-third and CO₂ emissions could be reduced by up to 60%.
